Joe Musolino began playing guitar in the suburb of Bennington VT known as Troy NY at 14 and studied at the Berklee College of Music. He and Jon played together in the bands Monolith, Auracle, and Banquo’s Ghost, as well in the annual Monolith Summer/Autumn Jams in New York’s Capital District for over a decade. Confusingly ambidextrous in music, sports, and other activities, Joe plays guitar right-handed but is largely mixed-handed, throwing a baseball with his left hand while writing with his right (though seldom simultaneously) and is a switch hitter at the plate. Fortunately, he . In addition to having a talent for choosing the perfect part to play in a given song, he alone knows which of his many guitars will sound best in it.
Joe contributed stellar guitar parts to a number of tracks on Jon’s album Filters Force the Light. He currently lives in Massachusetts and spends as much time as he can in Vermont.
